The Reliance Family Day is a private and intimate event, unlike the large scale public events that DNA Entertainment Networks is known for organising. It may appear smaller to the outside world, but it remains one of the biggest events on our calendar in terms of responsibility, planning and execution.

When a brand like Reliance entrusts you with an event that brings together thousands of its employees and their families, there is no room for error. Every detail matters, every experience counts, and every department needs to work in complete coordination.

DNA has been associated with Reliance Family Day since 2015. Over the years, the event has grown significantly in scale, and so have our capabilities in planning and execution. The 2025 edition was another opportunity to demonstrate how structured planning, technical expertise and coordinated teamwork come together to create an extraordinary experience.

With approximately 70,000 attendees across two batches, the event demanded precision across every aspect, from infrastructure and production to entertainment and guest experience.

A Decade of Growing Together: Reliance Family Day Since 2015

Our association with Reliance Family Day goes back to 2015. What began as an event for 35,000 people has evolved into an experience that accommodates approximately 70,000 attendees.

The scale of this growth also reflects how our approach to planning and execution has evolved over the years.

A look at the journey:

2015: An event for 35,000 people, with 15 days of setup.

2017: The scale increased to 50,000 people, requiring 30 days of setup.

2019, 2024 and 2025: The event accommodated approximately 70,000 people across two batches, with the entire setup completed in just 7 days.

Moving from a 30 day setup to a 7 day execution window while accommodating a significantly larger audience required a more streamlined approach to planning, resource management, coordination and production.

This wasn't simply about getting things done faster. It was about building a more efficient execution model without compromising on quality, safety or the overall experience.

Laying a Strong and Reliable Foundation

To make this gathering memorable for attendees, we first had to ensure seamless behind the scenes orchestration. An event of this magnitude can only come together when every department operates with a clear understanding of its responsibilities.

A core DNA team of 25 members, supported by 30 freelancers and a network of over 1,000 vendors, worked together to bring the 2025 edition to life.

The planning team formed the backbone of the operation, overseeing the various requirements and ensuring that every aspect was accounted for. This was followed by overall event management and show calling, which played a crucial role in maintaining the flow of the event and ensuring that every segment ran according to schedule.

The branding, visual design and on ground aesthetics teams transformed the venue into a welcoming and engaging environment. From the stage and seating arrangements to the various experience zones, every element was designed to contribute to the larger event experience.

Production was another critical component. Our sound, lighting and LED technical teams worked on delivering clear audio, immersive visuals and consistent technical execution across the venue. Special effects during live performances added another dimension to the entertainment experience.

One of the standout technical aspects of Reliance Family Day is the scale of its LED infrastructure. The event features one of the largest LED walls in our production portfolio, supported by an extensive rigging setup.

Given the scale and height of the installation, crane assisted rigging played an important role in executing the structure. This required detailed engineering coordination, careful planning and close supervision to ensure that the installation was completed safely and efficiently.

Establishing Balance with the Carnival Zone

With approximately 70,000 attendees expected across two batches, accessibility, capacity management and comfort were equally important considerations.

While the main stage remained the central attraction, we wanted to ensure that attendees had plenty to explore beyond the performances.

The carnival zone offered a range of activities, including games, DIY experiences, fun rides and photo opportunities. It created an interactive space where attendees of different age groups could participate, explore and enjoy the event at their own pace.

This zone played an important role in balancing the structured stage programme with more informal, engaging experiences.

The catering zones and audience seating areas were also strategically distributed across the venue to accommodate the needs of a large gathering. This allowed attendees to move around comfortably, enjoy their meals, socialise and take breaks without disrupting the overall flow of the event.

Every element had to be positioned thoughtfully. From guest movement and crowd management to activity placement and operational access, the objective was to ensure that the experience remained seamless throughout.

Bringing Every Piece Together

An event of this scale is much like a jigsaw puzzle. Every department, infrastructure element and operational requirement needs to fit into the larger picture.

From back of house operations and artist management to electrical systems, power distribution, lighting design, stage infrastructure and audience experiences, every component required close coordination.

The challenge was to ensure that the technical, creative, operational and experiential aspects worked together rather than functioning as separate units.

The 25 member core DNA team, supported by 30 freelancers and a network of over 1,000 vendors, worked across various departments to bring the event together.

Managing such an extensive vendor ecosystem required considerable coordination, resource allocation and continuous communication. From infrastructure and production to catering, entertainment, logistics and on ground operations, every vendor played a role in delivering the larger experience.

Aligning all these moving parts within a 7 day setup window required departments to work simultaneously, resources to be allocated efficiently and decisions to be made with a clear understanding of the larger execution plan.

The result was an event that brought together approximately 70,000 participants across two batches, with every major aspect working towards a common objective.

More Than an Event, A Relationship Built Over the Years

Our association with Reliance Family Day since 2015 represents more than a series of successful event executions. It reflects a relationship built on consistency, trust and the ability to deliver as expectations and scale continue to grow.

From accommodating 35,000 attendees in 2015 to delivering an experience for approximately 70,000 people in 2025, the journey has pushed us to continuously improve how we plan, manage and execute large scale events.

The 2025 edition brought together everything that goes into making such an event successful: detailed planning, experienced teams, technical expertise, strong production capabilities and seamless coordination.

For DNA, Reliance Family Day is a reminder that the size of an event isn't measured only by the number of people attending. It is also measured by the responsibility involved, the complexity behind the scenes and the experience created for every single attendee.

And that is what continues to drive us towards the extraordinary.
